Second VicePresident of Sala de Representantes (name given to the Board of Representatives of Buenos Aires in the period 1820-1854); Member of the State Council; Minister of the Treasury; Chairman of the Province Constituent Convention; Senator for this Province (in two terms); President of the Senate of this Province (1856-1860); Member of Governmental Advisory Council; Chairman of the FCO ( West Railway System); Director of Banco Provincia .

His father, Mr.Jaime Llavallol y Del Riú was a merchant; his mother’s name was María Gertrudis Merlo.

Llavallol finished his studies and devoted to the activity his father did, by means of which he acquired a considerable position; this led him to enter into the politic sphere of that time.

1803-1880, Teacher of Public Law; Deputy President of School of Jurisprudence, Representative; Secretary of the Board of Representatives of Buenos Aires; Member of Inspection Committee of Teaching Syllabus and Programs; Member of the Writer Committee of the Civil Code; Minister of Government and Foreign Affair; Minister of War and Navy; Member of the Cabinet; Secretary of the Treasury; Member of the Provincial Constituent Convention; Senator of this Province; President of the Senate of this Province (1856); First Deputy Vice President of the Municipality of Buenos Aires.

He was Mr. Juan Manuel de Rosas’s friend and collaborated in Rosas’s second Administration; after the Battle of Caseros (1852), he collaborated in Urquiza’s Government.
